{Senior Mania}

My blooging “to-do” list just keeps getting longer so I wanted to share some of the seniors from this past summer in one post, otherwise I am afraid I will never get it done!

{What to Wear}

Tis the season of family photos.  I often get asked by my clients about what to wear.  So I put together a couple of looks based around a family of four with one boy and one girl.  However, the concepts are the same no matter how many people will be in the portrait.

I often suggest that you should coordinate your clothes but not be too matchy-matchy.  A great way to coordinate is to find one piece of clothing that has a great pattern and then pull colors from that pattern for everyone else in the group.

Here are a couple of examples with looks I pulled from Old Navy.   The first would be perfect for outdoor photos and the second would look great in a more urban setting.  Of course you can totally make these looks your own with cute accessories and shoes!

I can’t wait to shop for our family photos this fall!!

{Kansas Pregame Magazine}

Several months ago I had the opportunity to photograph some of the top high school football players in Kansas who were being featured in Kansas Pregame Magazine.  We were graciously hosted at the Smoky Hills Windfarm in Lincoln County by TradeWind Energy who also sponsored the shoot.  It was the perfect location!

Here are a few snaps of the magazine.  Copies are available for free at Pizza Hut locations across Kansas and also at a variety of other businesses.  Check out the Kansas Pregame website for details.

{The A Family} Kansas Family Photography

These are from awhile back, but in an effort to get caught up with my blogging I decided the A family needed some blog love because I really loved the images from their session!

Four generations!

Beautiful Sisters!!

{Baby Bump} Salina Maternity Photography

I just wanted to share one from a recent maternity session.  The mommy to be was absolutely gorgeous and so sweet!  She was just such a warm and caring person…I know she is going to be an amazing mother.
