{Matthew and Erin}

I have to admit that I was really excited for this wedding.  Matthew and Erin are an absolutely adorable couple and some of the nicest people I have ever met.  Matthew and Erin met while attending K-State, so Manhattan was the ideal place for the wedding!   I wanted to share a few shots we took on campus between the wedding and reception.

Of course we had to do some shots in front of one of the campus signs.  When I came to K-State for the first time to check out going there for grad school I had my picture taken with this same exact sign!!  I just thought of that and it made me laugh.

The K-State Alumni Center was a beautiful location for photos!

We then headed over to the botanical gardens.  What a beautiful location!

Erin was such a beautiful bride!  All her jewelery was a surprise from her father…he did good!

 And finally I wanted to share one from the reception.  I love it when this happens!

Thanks for allowing me to share in your special day! :)

{The M Family}

It’s getting to be that time of year again when I photograph a lot of families for Christmas.  I have to admit that families are one of my favorite things to photograph.  Maybe I like a challenge?  It is difficult sometimes with any family to get everyone looking good and looking in the same direction especially when there are young ones involved but when it happens it is a beautiful thing!  This image is no exception and has become one of my all time fav’s!

{Jamie the Pig Whisperer}

This session was so fun.  Not only did I have one of my favorite seniors; I also got to work with this fabulous pig named Murf.  Now Murf is a special prize winning show pig so he is used to performing and was such a ham for the camera.  Ham….ha ha ha, I kill me.  Okay enough of my lame humor.

Murf really like marshmallows and would sit for them.  What a good pig!

I will post some more from Jamie’s session later!

{The “K” Kids}

Last week I had the privilege of photographing the “K” kids.   I haven’t been very good at updating my blog lately since this is right in the middle of my busy season so I wanted to make sure I got a few up of these two before another week goes by.  Enjoy!

Here is Miss M

And Mr. T

And hey, who says brother/sister portraits have to be *boring*!!

{Jeremy and Mindy}

Jeremy and Mindy were married on 8.08.08 in Lincoln and it was a beautiful day!  The weather was amazing, can you believe it was only 85 degrees in August?  And with all the rain we have gotten lately everything was nice and green.

Jeremy and Mindy made time between all the formal church altar shots and the ceremony to go to the park to do some fun shots.  In my opinion every couple should try and make the time to do this because the resulting images always end up being the favorites from the day!
