{Elise}

I can’t lie, Elise is one of my favorites!  I have had the pleasure of being her Sunday school teacher for the past year or so and she is a beautiful person on the inside and out.  Here are a few of my favorites from her session.

{Babies!!!}

Have you ever heard a guinea squawk?  I would classify them as one of the most annoying birds on the planet; believe me, I know…I have a flock of them.  Even though they are really loud, I do enjoy watching them run around and they eat a lot of bugs.  This summer my guinea population started to dwindle and I was down to 5 birds at one point.  I started to think my guinea days were about to be over, but alas…it looks like the population is secure for another year.  I think there are 22 babies.

{Shelby}

Last week I had the pleasure of shooting Shelby’s senior portraits.  It was really fun to get back into the swing of things after the having the baby and Shelby was a beautiful subject to start of my senior season with.

{Week 3}

Today marks 3 weeks since Kale was born.  Wow, that flew by fast!!   I took Kale to the studio today so I could clean things up for a session this weekend and I was so glad I had my camera handy when he finally fell asleep.  21 days is really pushing the “newborn” type photos because babies just don’t sleep as soundly and they aren’t quite as bendable as they were when first born.  But thankfully he gave me a few minutes before waking up.  I think he has grown since last week….sniff, sniff…my little boy is growing up.
