{Happy Halloween}

I had grand plans for Kale’s 14 week portraits.  My mom scouted out the biggest pumpkin she could find and my good friend Susan crocheted the cutest pumpkin hat for Kale.  Earlier this week there was a warmish day and Kale wouldn’t take a nap so I thought okay….today is the day.  Kale and I carved the pumpkin and I got everything set up outside.  Power pole behind him so he couldn’t topple over…check, ugly Ford pickup to provide shade…check, hollowed out pumpkin….check.  So I get Kale outside and he wouldn’t fit!  Plan B – carve leg holes in the pumpkin.  Well by that time, my poor overtired baby had just about enough.  I can’t bear the thought of subjecting him to another round in the pumpkin so I am going with what I shot the other day.

Here is Kale at 14 weeks….Happy Halloween!!

{Toni}

Toni just happens to be my neighbor, well she lives a mile or so away-but out here that is like next door.  I have lived here for just about 5 years now and it has been fun to watch Toni grow up.  Most of the time when I see her it is just in passing while driving and I don’t think I really ever paid attention though to how beautiful she is.

{Kara}

Meet Kara, a 2010 senior from Salina.  She was a beautiful girl inside and out and I really loved how her images turned out.  We were so lucky that day to actually have some sunshine….I can really do without all these overcast days!!

I just love it when people include their dogs in their photo sessions!  This big guy was so cute and was very well behaved.  Oh….and these beautiful girls were such troopers despite the frigid temperatures!
