I can’t believe Miss J is two years old already!   Two can be a challenging age to photograph because let’s face it, they have a mind of their own, but what I really love about this age is that when they do smile, it is still genuine.  No cheesy smiles yet!

{Sharon and Nathan}

I spent this past weekend in Arizona visiting family and friends.  A highlight of the week was Sharon and Nathan’s wedding at the Arizona Historical Society.  I tagged along with my friend and photographer extraordinaire Rebecca and had a blast shooting details and playing with lenses I typically don’t use for weddings.  Beautiful bride + awesome venue + no official responsibilities = Lots of fun!!   Here are a few from the day.

{Baby R} Kansas Newborn Photographer

Meet beautiful Baby R who was welcomed into the world last Monday!  Baby R arrived at my studio wide eyed and wanted to stay that way…none of my usual sleep tricks worked!  Eventually she drifted into dream land, but she made me and her mom and dad really work for it.

{Sweet Baby A} Kansas Baby Photographer

Miss A came to the studio today along with her mom and dad and she was an absolute joy!  I just adore her and I know my little guy Kale does too.  Miss A is one of his favorite people to look at in church.  I can’t say that I blame him….she is pretty cute!

{Nathan and Jill} Engagement Portraits

Meet Nathan and Jill who are getting married this June in Russell.  They are an absolutely adorable couple and both of them are so sweet!  I can’t wait for the wedding because I know it will be a fun day!
